Taking office in January 2014 for a six-year term, Bruce's primary goals are: (1) to prepare the Township for the future by promoting growth, both residential & commercial, in order to strengthen our tax base; (2) to encourage participation by a growing number of Township residents in all aspects of local government & activities. ( 3 ) To create a "transparent" system of local government that can hopefully be understood & accepted by all. "Residents might not necessarily agree with how all of their tax dollars are being spent but they have the right to at least be aware of and understand the process."
"With the success of the Alta Vista Business Park and the anticipated benefits of the Marcellus Shale resources, hopefully it's finally our turn to thrive".
