Life Saving Trainings for 2024
The Fallowfield Township Volunteer Fire Department will be hosting life saving training sessions throughout 2024. This includes CPR, AED, and first-aid training. Please click here to find out more information and the schedule of these sessions.
Greenways Plan Public Survey
As part of the data collection and public outreach for the Greenways Plan, the Planning Office has created a Public Survey for residents and other users to submit comment for the Plan.

The Planning Commission is also holding a Greenways Plan Public Open House on January 17, 2024, in the Courthouse Square Public Meeting Rooms, 100 West Beau Street, Rooms 103 and 104, Washington, PA, 15301.
Current EMS Provider
Rostraver/West Newton Emergency Services is our current EMS provider.
It has come to our attention that another EMS provider has been soliciting memberships to our residents.
Keep in mind that although residents are free to support any EMS organizations they prefer, if it becomes necessary to call for emergency help, it will be Rostraver/West Newton that responds.
Although RWNES honored memberships with other providers until the end of 2022, they will not honor them going forward.
The decision to switch to Rostraver/West Newton Emergency Services was made by the Fallowfield Township Board of Supervisors in the best interest of our residents and the arrangement has been working out very well since the change. Stay Safe and Healthy.
Clean and Tidy Our County, Inc.
A registered non-profit, Clea and Tidy Our County, Inc. is looking for volunteers and supplies for their upcoming county-wide cleanup effort.
They are seeking donated items such as gloves, garbage bags, safety vests, and tongs. Donations are tax deductible and will be put to good use - and will be greatly appreciated!

New EMS Provider Effective August 21, 2022
Pursuant to the Board of Supervisors, effective 12:01 a.m., Sunday, August 21, 2022, the Board has decided to use Rostraver West Newton Emergency Services as our primary EMS provider and will no longer be using Mon Valley EMS. Rostraver West Newton Emergency Services will honor all Mon Valley EMS subscriptions through the end of 2022, thereafter, they will be reaching out to everyone about subscribing with them in 2023.
Public Information Seminar for Farm Owners
Farm owners are invited to attend a public informational seminar to learn about the county’s farmland preservation program on March 3, 2022. The seminar will provide a brief overview of the program and offer an opportunity for participants to ask questions and discuss issues pertaining to farm preservation. County Survey for Residents
The Washington County Comprehensive Plan HUB website now includes a Public Survey. This survey is to gather input from residents regarding what is important as it relates to the County.
